Please post your favorite organic nutrients (BRANDS) for both the veg and flowering cycle and why you like these particular ones. Please post the cost for these as well for an entire cycle.

I'm a fan of Fox Farm. I really like buying as much of my groceries as I can afford from organic shops. I am currently using FF OF soil with the three pack of liquid food (grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom). I'll be adding the three pack of solids next batch (cha ching, open seseam, and whatever the third one is). I guess I don't have much room to judge, since I haven't used any other brand yet. The only thing I will be using that isn't FF is AN's Final Phase since FF's Sledgehammer went out of production.

Well, I've been using Earth Juice everything, Grow, Bloom, Catalyst, MicroBlast, Meta K, Escential Spray. I'd say it's a pain in the ass; you have to bubble the nute mix like a tea before use. If you have the time it's GREAT. Earth Juice makes your pot taste fabuloso, but it drops the pH to crazy levels (this is why you must bubble it). I'm switching to Nature's Nectar products, 100% organic and ORMI listed (like Earth Juice). I'll let you know how that goes. You can find Earth Juice purdy cheap, often on sale for $10 per quart on eBay or at your local hydro store (reg. $15 per quart). I also use a ton of FoxFarms organic products; on my new grow I'm using the Moonshine Soil Mix which requires no ferts throughout the life of the plant. Only distilled/RO water. FoxFarm Ocean Forest ($20/per bag), Light Warrior ($15 per bag) and Planting Mix ($15/per bag), FoxFarm Peace of Mind Fruit & Flower ($8/per box), Fox Farm Peace of Mind Starter ($8/per box) and FoxFarm Big & Chunky perlite (about $30 per bag). FoxFarm nutes are great, but all are not organic. Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, and the tri-pack (open sesame, beastie bloomz & cha ching) are not organic and you most likely should not use if you are going with an all organic routine. These ferts contain salts which kill all beneficial bacteria & fungi that you’ve been making and building with the organic routine. Other organic products that I use and like are FoxFarm's Big Bloom ($15/per quart) & Humboldt County's Own Purple Maxx ($25 per 8oz bottle). Purple Maxx causes crazy trich & resin development, and in some cases makes your herb turn purple. Last but not least is MOLASSES! Blackstrap molasses (1tsp per gallon of water) is an excellent addition to your flowering plants, packs on weight and adds flavor.

I only use  Premier Pro Mix . 3or5 gal. grow bags cause they move easier and can place them closer together.Earth Juice Grow,Bloom,Catalist. I also sprinkle dried blood on top to keep leaf green during 2nd phase. To keep ph up I mix 2tbsp.Dolomite crushed lime in 1 gal.water and pour. One flush and ok . All organic stuff Grin Total cost for all 55.00 + dirt 35.00 That is good for 4 cycles. I don't keep nutrients personally after 1 yr . I think breakdown is inevitable. Use the leftover on houseplants. Shocked

Does anyone use Fish Emulsion?? Seems to be the least expensive and simplest to use, yet very effective as well. And no nute burn.

Looks like FOX FARM is a popular brand. But no one as yet has posted the cost of these nutes for an entire grow of about 10 plants.

I pay $21/bag of FF OF soil
$40 for the three pack of the liquids (or about 14 each, I think)
$70 for the three pack of solids (or 24 each)

I get these at a local shop, but htgsupply.com is great too.

I guess organics can get pretty pricey fast.

the tri pak of FF will give you enough nutes for 10 or more grows easily.
im on grow number 4 and only used roughly a 1/4 of them so far.
im a lil bias as to what i use.have used FF for awhile now,and if you use thier soil, and nutes, and at least a 400 watt HID light you'll grow big buds without to much effort.
they take all the guess work outta veg,and they really couldnt make it any easier in flower, with the feeding schedule.

HTG is working on that canada thing HG.good things come to those that wait  Grin

I missed the part about cost, the dry nutes including soil, bat g and worm is about $100 a time. The liquid nutes is about $20 because I only use 1/2 to 1 tsp per gal. The KoolBloom is not organic ,  i only use 1/4 tsp per gal during bloom cycle. The lights and other equipment is another $225 to $250 a time, so it cost me about $325 to $350 per complete cycle for 12 plants = 3 1/2 to 4 lbs Cool

Big Bloom is organic and used in all phases. Tiger Bloom is the bloom  (flowering) nutrient, it's a synthetic fertilizer. Yep, Grow Big is a grow (veg) nutrient, also a synthetic fertilizer.
